It starts with one of my first assessments at a VA referred Pain Specialist and jumps into Radiology Reports and VA Doctor written Progress Notes. There is a lot not posted, it is repetitive after a while, though some new files are due in shortly. Many of the pages not posted are different interpretations from the VA on the same MRI’s. I repeatedly asked instead of a second or third MRI, why not with contrast under stress (standing, would show damage better), or a CT scan or even plain film, seeing how neither one of those had been done. Oh VA… Of course they stuck with same old MRI’s and X-rays, more expensive and less applicable for diagnostic work.
One thing I would like to point out. If I have Levoscoliosis and Dextroscoliosis, well what else do you call more than one Scoliosis in one spine? So Multiple Scoliosis, Multiple Bulged Disc, at least One Torn Disc, Multiple Degenerative Disc, with a Nerve Root Compromise that not even in my words but by VA direct observation causes pain, limited Range of Motion and Spasms. Hemm… How long is it going to take them to realize I am disabled because of my spine. I have done all the test they ask of me, I have followed the treatment plans they give to the best that anyone could have, what more does the VA want? Seriously, if you tied your legs together to try and simulate loosing a leg, or tie an arm behind your back to simulate loosing am arm, what could they do to simulate my life without a functional spine? Any who, if your not convinced after going thru all the files, please let me know what it would take to convince someone who would not believe it unless…
